  1. This is why I look down on my friends that choose to go live in countries like the UAE, idc if you don’t pay taxes, you exploit literal fucking slaves.

  2. The kafala system is present throughout the entire Middle East. Levant, GCC all have it as well. Africans, south Asians and Philippinos are typically the most oppressed groups

    It’s vile and many Arabs will defend it, but it’s also very deeply engrained into many of the societies here.
