One second he was there, and now he’s everywhere. On a brighter note, EOD is no longer his problem anymore.
Technically, he did the job.
It seems an excellent method to me, but it took too long and too many drills. He could have achieved the same result quicker and simplier. Just for that, I’ll give him 8/10.
Welp, no mine now.
Did he just light a fuse from the wrong end?
Okay, I see he didn’t now. He clearly grabbed something off the ground to maybe stabilize the charge he was placing and that’s when he set it off. For a tic I thought he was lighting the fuse with a lighter, clearly he was foolish but not quite the way I thought.
Training video?
Well done!

– I already exploded one like this. This size of crater
– fine explosion, yeah? (…) It is also triggered by that… by pressure, yes? If you drive or step on it
– Yeah I already detonetade the same one, right there. It was fine
– Is there some space behind garage? (laughing) (…) Dont fucking touch it!
btw forgot some context
it is deminer of 132 separate motorized brigade near Toretsk
I see nothing other than a successful blow-in-place
The last thing that went through his mind was his asshole
Why doesn’t he shoot it from afar? Like video games? Or throw a grenade at it?
In Russia you add explosives in front of the mine so when you trigger the mine by disturbing it, it makes a bigger boom
Job done ! And rest in pieces !
It’s fine, a little scratch, back at work no time..
How did he manage to explode so quickly? What went wrong? Can’t they get a longer fuse or just shoot the mine from a distance?
Why dont they just shoot them lmao
Whoever was filming the video had a hunch and was walking away, he was lucky!!
Me thinking using your thigh as a cutting board is a bad idea seems irrelevant now.
But… Where did he go? Good magic trick.
Uh… who did win?

From Wikipedia:
Due to its high sensitivity to changes in the magnetic field, the mine may be triggered by individuals, along with vehicles. If no target has been detected, the mine self-destructs after the completion of the self-liqudation period.
Installed PTM-3 mines cannot be removed by dislocation. The mines self-destruct 16–24 hours after deployment. If a mine has not self-destructed upon the completion of the set self-liquidation timeframe, it is destroyed using a remotely-triggered explosive charge weighing 0.2-0.4 kg placed next to the mine. It is prohibited to destroy the PTM-3 mines before the self-liquidation period has elapsed, as the placement of the explosive charge could trigger the mine. If the mine must absolutely be removed before the self-liquidation period has elapsed, it can be destroyed by machine gun fire, preferably mounted on an armored vehicle.
Why couldnt they just throw a stone or log? Wouldnt that do the job?
He pulled out some explosive to safely get rid of a pressure/motion activated mine.
_…. and then he poked the mine._
That’s some big brain energy right there.
I am disappointed by the lack of aftermath footage.
James May: this means he won’t come then?
That is a fucking child. He couldn’t of been more than 25 years old and looks somewhere between 18-23. These ones are the hardest to watch. Watching people younger than I, dying in war, is a very strange feeling. Just… fuck Putin man.
ruSSkie Sapper: “Now pay close attention here. I’m only going to show you this once…”
I don’t get it. He prepares a fuze and a primer, sticks it into a charge, and then … starts poking the mine with a stick?
Not a job I would ever like to have but he did seem a bit cocky about the situation 🤷🏻♂️🤦♂️
wouldn’t it be easier to shoot the damn dang from a safe distance?
