There’s multiple different dodgy contacts / deals between Boris and various high placed Russians with direct links to Putin and deals / links to high level members of the Russian mob.
That’s without even mentioning the “Russia report” that Boris sat on for ages before very quietly releasing (which most of the UK’s right wing media refused to cover because they didn’t want to admit the Russian connections and Russian interference into the UK) which proved that the security services were told to not even look for any signs of Russian interference inot the UK’s politics and specifically the Brexit referendum, which gave Putin exactly what he wanted with the UK cut off from Europe and ruined as a country
