The first episode of the show “Made in Romania” premieres on Discovery on December 29 at 7:00 PM. This show marks the first local production at Discovery in recent years and offers viewers a unique perspective on how iconic products are manufactured in Romania and abroad.

The debut episode of “Made in Romania” is dedicated to sweet creations and tells the story of the Măgura cake, a classic dessert that has been continuously produced for over 45 years. Since the company’s founding in 1979, the Măgura cake has followed a secret recipe that ensures the consistency of its fluffy sponge and velvety cream. This secret recipe has evolved into eight permanent varieties and several thematic limited editions released annually. For an international perspective, the episode also features other famous sweet delicacies from around the world, including maple syrup, Turkish delight, and the mysterious licorice root.

“Made in Romania” will have four episodes, released monthly on Discovery, detailing the manufacturing processes of local products while simultaneously providing an international perspective by showcasing similar production processes abroad.

The new local show “Made in Romania” is produced by Discovery in partnership with GroupM and created by Studio Set. Each episode is narrated by actor Șerban Pavlu.
