  1. Fuck yeah, about time someone started just seizing these ships in an attempt to hold the countries responsible accountable

  2. And loaded with spy equipment, to the point the ship suffered blackouts trying to power it all

  3. Feels good to have Finland in NATO. They know what it means having Russia as a neighbour.

  4. All Baltic countries need to issue ultimatums. Any ship near a cable at the time of an incident will be considered forfeited assets.

  5. Finland doing gods work lmao, theyre no longer afraid of the goblin next door

  6. A lesson for the Danes, who asked them to anchor in international waters to avoid confrontation.

  7. This and a lot more of this. Harass the Russians wherever they are to be found. Seize everything that even looks suspicious. Deny them any legitimacy. Never, ever give them the benefit of the doubt. Ascribe the worst possible motives to everything they say and do and respond accordingly. Do not give them an inch and treat them with the contempt and disdain they deserve.

  8. I got strong COD4:MW vibes from these photos. The first mission “Crew Expendable” was to seize russian freighter as well.

  9. Good, charge the entire crew with espionage and jail them all for life. Impound the ship indefinitely and strip it and learn any secrets it has and then sell it for scraps to pay for damages.

  10. Seize all their ships, these are not accidents.

  11. The interview of Finnish police forces was f0cking legendary.

Int: “Have you contacted the Russians about this?”

    Police: “No.”

Int: “Are you going to contact the Russians?”

    Police: “No.”

  12. Fins. Gload that there are some countries with balls that clank

  13. Russia is the belligerent bully that will always destroy things for the sake of it until the rest of the world put Russia in its place.

  14. I hope finland keeps the oil and ship. sell it cheap to pay of Russia’s debt to Ukraine.

  15. Well done Finland, show the allies and NATO how its done, how stand up to these Ruzzian tossers

  16. A few more ships seized and a few more crews charged with terrorism and the problem is solved.

What I can’t fathom is how we could ever fear those barbarians and not respond adequately earlier.

    Great job, Finnish friends.

  17. Kunnia Ukrainalle
    слава Україні
    Kunnia Suomelle
    слава Фінляндії

  19. If it’s russian, it should be followed, tracked, recorded, harassed, boarded, impounded and I’m not averse to sinking the fuckers every now and then.

For far too long we’ve been playing by the rules with them. Finland has the balls to stand up to them and say ‘no, fuck you russia, this stops right fucking now’.

  20. Oh boy, newest NATO member, I wonder how it will respond. Russians are going to be mad about the oil and claim bullshit

  21. The plot thickens indeed. Finland itching to get rid of the threat from next door

  22. If you can’t control your anchor it should be possible to seize the boat for lack of seaworthy.

  23. Don’t play with the fins
They don’t give a crap 💩 when you try playing games with them

  24. Finns being practical, resourceful no-bullshit types as usual. <3

  25. It’s about time! We here in Finland have been too cautious for too long time. All Nato countries should always act hard, Russia continues doing these sabotages as long as WE allow it.

We have a saying here:” If you bow on front of Russian he kicks you, but if your kick Russian, he bows on front of you”.

They understand hard acts only, if one is trying to negotiate or talk with them, they consider it act of weakness.

  26. Even special forces dream of doing “let’s seize a tanker at night, at sea” type of stuff.

And while I’m guessing it was less dramatic than in games and action movies where they inflitrate defended ones. Finding a bunch of spy equipment and such was probably interesting.

  27. What about the ship that destroyed the gas pipelines? That one we don’t seize?

  28. This is the Eagle S, and this ship has been suspected of being a SPY ship for almost a year now. Glad to see they finally decided to grab them.

  29. “Seize” and “detained” are two different things. The article states the latter.

    Just pointing this out.
