Outrage as Tamworth FC releases ‘punishing’ ticket price for Tottenham clash

1. For the main stand, adults will have to pay £42, and £38 for terraced. Over 66s will pay a slightly discounted £37 and under 17s £34. Under 10s will cost £29, with just a few quid difference for terraced in each section.

   In comparison, the Staffordshire venue holds 4,963 and seats around 500. They usually charge £18-£21 to watch a match, but appear to have charged extra for the Tottenham

2. My Ticket for Chelsea vs Morecambe was £34

   All goes to the club

   And it’s not every match

   I dont blame them though as they will sell every ticket they issue. They will have loads of locals go who normally would never set foot in the ground.

   You could argue its a bit unfair on the regulars but they are still going to get to see their side play against premiership opposition which isnt something that happens very often.

   The extra money will be great for the club and hopefully they will put it on TV as well so they get even more.
