Yeah because the avarage catering person really wants to work with prisoners …why don’t you put them in offices instead or doesn’t the general public respect hospitality workers ..ffs put them in forced labour get them building new homes for free as the prisons are all full ..this country just needs to bloody do something

  3. It’s a good job pubs are a booming industry with plenty of jobs available! I guess the skills are transferable at least to other hospitality.

  4. Good plan, we need to make sure people leaving prison have the skills to get a job and make a success of being on the outside.

    The cycle of being released, being unable to find work and then returning to crime / prison is just an endless cycle that benefits nobody.
