    Labour won’t ever move them because the headlines are too risky. Either ‘Looney Left Lets Cons Walk Free’, or god forbid ‘Ex Con Kills, Labours Fault’. Regardless of the specifics or nuances. Did you know that Labour let 100 cons watch Sky TV last month and your granny has to make do with council telly? Etc.

    The Tories won’t touch them because why would they.

    The only way that those sentences will fall off is through the deaths of those incarcerated, this is kicking the can into the long grass on a systemic and generational level.
