1. An ecologic tragedy in three acts:

   Act 1 – “India is not overpopulated! A population of 1.5 billion is fine! If anything, it’s good! Their per capita emissions are low!”

   Act 2 – “India must be supported in industrializing and modernizing! It’s abhorrent for so many people to live in abject poverty!”

   Act 3 – *India industrializes and emissions skyrocket to rapidly align with the other >1B country (China) and climate chaos accelerates uncontrollably*
