1. Australia needs nuclear power as well to be part of the mix to service our future nuclear powered submarines.

4. With the amount of land Australia has for Solar as well as the most of the raw materials for making batteries. I think the nuclear and coal proponents have destroyed a huge economic advantage as well as a big source for bringing jobs to Australia. Even today instead of plans of spending $300 billion on nuclear over the next 20 years if they just promise to purchase $10 billion of the cheapest and best made in Australia batteries bess systems every year for the next 15-20 years. Their electricity prices will be cheaper than nuclear.
