I love how Romania is never mentioned in these even though even PSD (corrupt party) politicians have over the years made comments about how Russia keeps trying to destabilize the region. But eh.. we’re Eastern Europeans so we don’t count.
Not to mention that a few years ago Putin literally threatened us and Poland over [the missile shield](https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36272686) that in the end, IIRC, didn’t get installed in Poland anymore. During a press conference with the Greek PM.

yes I very well remember writing comments a while back on how Russia wants to invade Ukraine proper among other things……and even people here on r/Europe made fun of me and said I dont understand anything and that surely that wont ever happen because ”Russians dont want that, they arent that crazy”.
I could look though my comment section and find those redditors, ask what they have to say for themselves. But I think they know they fucked up good by now, so I wont.
I feel more sorry about our Baltic politicians who also tried to warn NATO and EU, but nobudy listened, nobudy cared. Estonians even tried to send Ukraine their own artillery guns, because they knew how badly Ukraine would need heavy weapons and that getting such big bulky equipment there after the war had already started would be very fucking difficult (it should have been done beforehand)….but again, nobody listened, Germans ever vetoed it.
