  23. Does Elon Musk not understand the Geopolitical calculation for US interests in this? The more Russia exhausts its resources in Ukraine helps the US in any future conflict with China, as it prevents them from projecting as much power without Russia in a strong position?

    If this wasn’t the case, you would see Taiwan upset with Ukraine funding instead of more Taiwan funding. But they’re not, in fact they encourage Ukraine defense and are happy with it, precisely because of this.

    This is a man who dreams of setting up a new civilisation on Mars – a planet with 1/3 the gravity of Earth, which comes with a myriad of its own problems – while complaining that we have population problems on Earth. Of course… you could set up an INDUSTRIAL civilisation, fully robotic and automated, on Mars…

    But humans wouldn’t be able to LIVE there…

    So at this point, I’m guessing that Musk is jealous and going to persuade Trump not to fund Ukraine, but to fund MARS instead.
