As far as I’ve managed to read news about this incident, this is not been confirmed or stated by any authorities. Finnish authorities have declined to comment on the matter, and this was a claim published by British-owned shipping industry journal Lloyd’s List, based on their source information.
I applaud the Finnish authorities intervention, investigations and seizing of the tanker, but I would prefer journalists would stick to the facts in hand, and not to mix things up.
Is this headline any clearer if read in an Irish accent?
