Hello, my girlfriend's family is of Polish origin, she and her parents are Argentinian, but her grandmother was born in Poland (80yo). I would like to give them a gift. Do you think this liquor is a good option?

Im not familiar with this exact product, but im pretty sure every local nalewka will taste nice. Should get them some typical polish sweets like ptasie mleczko by wedel, in case they dont like alcohol.
if you give someone with Polish roots something with a capacity of 200 ml, it will be considered an insult. At least 500 ml per person is expected in our tradition of long-standing alcoholism.
You鈥檒l need 9 more of those tiny things 馃槈
20e for 100ml is a robbery even at a bar
Absolutely not. Please hand it over to me so I can dispose of it properly
Duuude, it is soooo expensive, and really small. This will be enough for 3 people to sip only. It It’s definitely not worth it. Could you give me a links of the sites you want to order something from? I will recommend something better.
Typical polish alcohols are Mi贸d Pitny Tr贸jnak, or Mi贸d Pitny Dw贸jnak, or 呕ubr贸wka. Mi贸d Pitny is an alcohol made from mead, and 呕ubr贸wka is a vodka with a special kind a blade of grass. It is ideal for a delicate drink, in the proportion of 1/10 呕ubr贸wka 9/10 apple juice. Such a drink tastes like apple pie. Grandma certainly remembers this taste from her youth.
but if you already bought it then… well, yes it will be tasty and looks nice
This is in fact best polish producer of so called nalewki. Yes, bottle is small but flavour is quite classic, taste a bit smoky, like dried fruits compote usually served during Christmas time.
Producer is Karol Majewski from 艁omianki, close to Warsaw. Only 3 ingredients – fruits, sugar, alcohol and vintage ones are macerated and aged for at least 4 years. Strongly recommend. Check @nalewki.staropolskie on instagram.
I’d say it’s really good, I worked at a bar in pretty premium hotel and we had this (and couple of other flavours) in our offer – whenever someone tried it out of curiosity, they were pleasantly surprised and wanted to try how other ones taste like, too. Price is huge but it’s definitely an alcohol of good quality.
It鈥檚 ridiculously expensive and small. I have an idea, different but in same category. There is very good quality gin from Poland called Heritage Magnolia Gin (won quite a few awards and made from local products). Try asking them via DM on Insta if they can ship it to Your location.
Anyway, it鈥檚 nice of You. I assume they will appreciate the effort.
That’s a way to go. It’s the thought that counts. You’re basically a Polish citizen right now. Congratulations and best wishes in cebulandia country:)
