And we do not have gas-only-heated housing at all.
I once read that 3% of Ukraine´s GDP was just taxes from having pipelines going across their country to transport Russian gas to the rest of europe.
If that is true, i dont think saying they are not reliant at all on their gas is accurate.
This is meaningless if you don’t also show how much of the energy mix gas comprises.
and every year this decreases increasingly rapidly now too!
Poland should be “OK” to move away from Russian gas by summer 2022 when its expected that Baltic Pipe will be finished and operational.
We also have two LNG terminals that are already operational and we are actively using them by unloading ships with LNG from America and some Arab countries.
Finally we’re next to Germany in one of those EU charts! Oh wait…
How is Austria not on this list? 30-60% of their gas comes from Russia
Yea Finland might get most of it’s gas from russia, but we use it very little

More similarities between Ireland and Ukraine !
Really wish people would learn to differentiate between the EU and Europe.

Where does Germany get the other 51% from?
It’s quite misleading though, since even if we have 94% of our gas coming from Russia, it is not really in prevalent use.
[Tilastokeskus](https://www.stat.fi/til/ehk/2020/04/ehk_2020_04_2021-04-16_tie_001_en.html) shows that around ~6% of our total energy consumption is from gas.

The UK hasn’t left the continent.
