Hi everyone, I'm planning to fly from Copenhagen to Leknes with SAS next year.

Looking at the SAS website, it appears I have the option of either:
1) CPH > OSL (SAS) > LKN (Wideroe)
2) CPH > BOO (SAS) > LKN (Wideroe)

Do I have to pick up my checked luggage and check it in again at either Oslo or Bodo airport? The flights will be on a single ticket.

I've read on https://avinor.no/en/airport/oslo-airport/plan-your-trip/transfer/domestic-transfer that we will not have to collect our luggage, but I'm not sure if this only applies to flights connecting in Oslo airport only, or does this also apply to Bodo airport too? Thanks in advance! 🙂

  1. At Oslo Airport you can do what the link you posted says, for the airlines listed, and they list SAS>Widerøe as a valid combination.

    I can’t find any specific information about Bodø Airport, but when they don’t have a similar article it is safe to assume they don’t have a special transfer service, which means you must collefct your luggage and check in again.

  2. If it is a single ticket then you don’t have to check in again.
