1. He’s just trying to already shift the blame to someone else when he tanks the economy. Remember when regarding how he handled the pandemic: “I take no responsibility”.

3. As I understand it, Trump appears to be making a statement that unless the debt ceiling is raised, the country will fall into a recession/depression. The logic being that we need to create more debt in order to stave off economic calamity. This does not sound sane to me. 🙂
