This guy lives in the Twilight Zone. Most countries already can’t meet the targets that have been established and he wants even more ambitious ones. How does he see that accomplishing anything? As for his idea of completely financing poorer nations, is the EU going to keep the euro printing machines running 24/7?

So wind and solar are said to be cheaper than fossil fuels, but the market isn’t moving by itself.
That’s not how markets work.
Pouring more billions of taxpayer money into make belief fantasies will help nobody.
Implement a carbon border tax, raise the carbon prices within the single market and distribute the proceeds to the citizens as tax breaks.
We are supposed to suffer while Africa grows and Asia develops and China Pollutes and annoys us
