We just moved to this house and am not familiar with these. At the old house we were only able to heat with wood. Are these safe to leave on all day. What about during the night with windows closed? I have anxiety about carbon monoxide and am very cautious with heat. Is anyone able to help let me know if these are safe? The house is heated with geothermal

compared to wood, very safe.
But please google on how to use them.
These just circulate water. They can make some weird noises if there’s air trapped into the system, but outside of that, they never go to steam.
you will survive
These are safe. There’s hot water inside, no risk with CO whatsoever with these.
It’s hot water… so no fear of carbon monoxide. And yes leave them on – do you want to freeze? If you turn them off it will take forever to heat the place up again.
Yes, it’s just hot water running through them.
There’s just hot water going through it, nothing to worry about. The worst you could get with windows closed is the air being too dry.
Also, it could take time to heat a room with, so don’t bother touching it before the cold period is over.
If you turn it to the max level and it doesn’t heat, then call your landlord, they may need to be cleaned/flushed.
Is what safe… ? 😂
Very safe yes. As other commenters have pointed out, its just hot water inside. you can definitly keep them on over night. you shouldnt ever completely turn them off in winter in my opinion.
pro tip: if they make noises or dont heat up, there is a small valve you can open with a square key to release air which might be inside. leave open until clear water comes out. dont forget to put something underneath to contain the water.
and yeah, wood is very dangerous in comparison to this.
Too hot water could burn you or your pets. There are screened enclosures for radiators to prevent that.
What would be unsafe about it?
The radiator? They are great! They are spotty with heat but not dangerous at all. They use hot water to radiate heat
About the safest type of heating there is – hot water by boiler. Get a boiler man out to make sure everything is in good order if you’re worried.
This is a troll post, right? right…?
Yeah fully safe.
There’s only hot water flowing through the radiators. Depending on how the hot water is generated problems usually only arrive there. If you’re living in an apartment completely that would be the basement.
On top of what others have said: the knob is a thermostat! If you wish to keep a constant temperature, don’t touch it. 3 is typical room temperature, but depending on your room and personal preference, you might end up liking something between 2 and 4. If the room is significantly colder than the goal temperature, it will heat at full blast. Turning it to 5 won’t heat your room any faster. I see many people do stupid things with that. If your room is cold, put it to 3 and let the thermostat do the rest.
Very safe, if they make noise air is stuck inside and you have to bleed them with a spécial key the régie should provide you with. You let the air out until water stops sputtering out and comes out regularly. Use a jug to catch the water.
