It’s also not something not to milk for press, books, magazines inches.. gross.
Fun fact Myleene Klass purchased a bottle of champagne for my grandmother and her husband on their honeymoon in the Seychelles back in 2001/2002. They are celebrating there 24th or 25th anniversary this evening.
My nan said she was a really nice young lady and even had a drink with them to celebrate.
Four miscarriages? Fucking hell. Good on her for her work, that sounds awful.
I don’t think anyone has ever considered miscarriage to be a “dark secret to hide”.
I suppose you could argue we have a strange relationship with death but ultimately, people view fertility issues and bereavements as things people deal with privately.
Taking out the emotion, it’s common amongst mammals that some pregnancies don’t develop and child death was very common very recently. It’s just one of those things.
I wonder how many people have just one, or two, miscarriages and then don’t have any more problems, and how many people go on to have three or more like in her case.
What kind of healthcare is she suggesting, supportive care or full on investigations? I’d have thought anyone having a miscarriage could have healthcare attention if they needed it, but having an isolated loss is not uncommon, for reasons that often don’t have anything to do with any underlying issues. Good luck to her on this campaign but that’s potentially a lot of extra patients if they want to start testing for issues every single time.
