It’s surprising how far behind Italy is compared to the rest of western Europe regarding LGBT legislation, literally Italy is at the same level of eastern europe!
Even third-world or less developed countries like some countries in Latin America have more advanced LGBT legislation than Italy
I don’t think the Vatican or the Catholic church is to blame here because even more religious and more Catholic countries like Mexico or Brazil have full marriage equality, full anti discrimination protections and transgender legislation
It was a retarded law, supported by a bunch of loud idiots. Pd refused to compromise, it did not pass. Democracy, for once, works.

The impact of these new Western woke values on certain demographic variables is very well known and potentially intended.
Im not against the gays or write mean things about them, but why would we need another law that surpresses our Freedom of Speech with strict punishment?
As long as it doesn’t support limitations on any speech I hope it passes
