Trey Augustine is back for his third world juniors tournament in the crease for USA hockey. Augustine has been a staple for USA hockey and has brought his big game nature to the international level.
Augustine had another big game moment on New Year’s Eve, when USA defeated arch-rival Canada, 4-1. In the win, Augustine was rewarded with the player of the game award after making 38 saves in the contest.
Team USA will look to win their second straight world junior championship in a row when the elimination round begins on Thursday.
