Watch: Reactions as Nigel Farage defends Russia & blames EU for invasion of Ukraine

  1. So fuck the Ukrainians and any democratic choices they might want to make, I guess. It’s not like giving into violent blackmail could have any negatives to it presumably.

  2. It’s not a surprise. Campaigning for Brexit was supported by millions in Russian money and thousands of Russian online trolls.

  3. Absolutely no surprise there.

We all know Russia loved the result in 2016 and that there were a huge number of paid sock puppet accounts and bots pushing for Leave in online spaces.

I’d be willing to bet he had a large lump sum of Russian funds deposited into his personal account at some point. Maybe some of the goodies they all got from shorting the pound on results night.

  4. Truth is that Farage admires Russia’s kleptocracy. He’d like to import that kinda thing into the UK along with the anti-LGBT violence.

  5. Well obviously. Does anyone have still any doubts about this man’s agenda? Let me say that again – it is Russia who benefits the most from Brexit, not people of United Kingdom.

  6. This bloke would sell his own mother to try and stay relevant. I wish he’d just fuck off and then when gets there fuck off again!

  7. Based on precedent, I’d say this guy just lies from morning to evening. Probably if you ask him how old is he he’d say 21.

Remember brexit and the “30O mILliOn pEr wEeK!!1!1!!” ?

  8. Just like trump. All the russian funded shills crawling out of their holes to act as mouthpieces for a murderous dictator.

Every one of these “conservatives” was bought and is owned by putin. All of em, and it’s pathetic. Greedy small minded little men willing to sell their cointries down the river for some dirty russian cash. Horrible.

  9. 21 centuries Lord Haw-Haw right here, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this man is a traitor not only to the people of this country but to the unity of humanity.

  10. Why the fuck would anybody be surprised at this? UKIP (& probably Farage himself) received Russian financial backing to the tune of millions, and Brexit itself was supported by the Russian government via disinformation campaigns and other financial interference in UK politics.

Why did Russia support UKIP, Farage and Brexit? Principally because it wanted to tear the UK away from Europe to weaken the United States’ influence over the EU, among other factors such as wanting to weaken the British economy and damage British power & prestige.

  11. So both Trump and Farage carrying water for Putler – hands up anyone who’s surprised at this…

  12. The traitor works for them doesn’t he? I though everyone with a brain knew that this is what Brexit was all about. The Russians financed it ffs.

  13. Well, at least now you can see where his support/sponsorship comes from and came all along…

PS: I really hope the Brexit lot feel like a bunch of buffoons for supporting the brexit cause right now.

PPS: I remember how back during the brexit happening I was trying so much to reason and point this out with folks over social media but apparently the few can only do so little.

  14. We need to be harsh on people like this. As in considering prison time for them harsh.

Of course, with the partly Russian funded Tories in power, that’ll never happen.

  15. For context, if they brought back Capital Punishment for treachery, I’d vote for Farage to be up first. I hate that man more than anyone in the public eye.

That said, is he not describing just what’s happening? Ukraine moves to join Nato (which strengthens the US’ position), and then Putin uses force to avoid that. If they’d not allowed the Ukraine near NATO, then Putin would have stood idly by and there’d be no war.

(obviously this is discounting the Ukraine’s right to sovereignty. Which, from our perspective, they’re entitled to).

  16. William Joyce would be proud. “Russia Calling, Russia calling, Russia calling…”

You’re a cunt, Nigel. A treacherous, unprincipled little cunt.

  17. Brexiters confuse me. I thought the whole point of brexit was for “sovereignty” and to make our own rules and go on our own direction.

So now you have an independent country, wanting to join NATO, and Russia invading them to stop it. Now Brexiters are defending Russia and blaming the EU because Ukraine want to join….>>> NATO <<< (not the EU) ….. On their own accord.

So what Brexiters are saying is Ukraine shouldn’t be independent and they shouldn’t be allowed to make their own decisions.

  18. A country, far away, of which we know little – from Munich, 1938. Now available from NF to order.

    A very bad man.
