Probably add in there “middle class” to give it a third dimension
I see “female only” or “female preferred” (which is basically the same thing) all the time. Doesn’t surprise me.
What garbage journalism.
Step one: go on reddit
Step two: find someone complaining about something contentious so it will help bring clicks to site
Step three: write a shit article about the post without providing any research or evidence
Step four: profit?
I see plenty of Asian language cards in windows that are advertising for rental space – by default to certain ethnicities.
I would be more worried to be the tenant when the landlord is specifying white girls though!

Another reason why letting and estate agents should have some form of regulation.
I don’t doubt this does happen, but to claim it to be more widespread is dodgy writing at its finest.
I am a landlord and know of others who have more restrictive rental requirements than we do, not regarding race but some will only rent to single women for example (not single as in relationship wise but living wise) due to having bad experiences renting to men in the past.
I don’t rent to families in our properties on the most part again due to previous bad experiences. Professional couples only.
The landlord must be some creepy guy who hopes to prey on an attractive woman, and he has specific taste.
