Many economists have predicted solid economic growth for the country and the state this year. However, most also acknowledge a fair amount of uncertainty given the far-reaching proposals of President-elect Donald Trump.

Increasing tariffs and cutting taxes are front and center of these discussions, with Trump endorsing tariffs as high as 60 percent on goods from China, and 10 to 25 percent on goods imported from other countries like Mexico and Canada.
