What are the main reasons for the swap, aside from it already being an informal currency and to induce tourism? The Finance Minister repeated that the pros outweigh the cons, but didn’t provide an example.
Or about 500 Euros.
Current exchange rate puts this at 264.3m€.
And how much will they benefit in the long run?
It would probably make more sense for Croatia to adopt it than some other EU countries like Poland or Romania. Without looking at official sources, I’m guessing their economy is more service and hospitality based than manufacturing and export.
