First off I'd like to thank you all for the great advice I didn't expect such an avalanche of responses. I took the plunge and went for a 0 all over didn't go for the clean shaven. Maybe in future but for now it's clippers and a 0 weekly. Some mentioned about growing a beard and luckily enough I do I have that I regularly trim at a no 3. I'll attach a picture of the final result I found it quite liberating tbh that last few years of my hair loss was pissing me off. Thank again lads 👍🏻

  1. Your head will be like velcro for a few days when pulling clothes on and off. Weird sensation at first haha!
Worth it for the lack of hassle man, and looks alot better than scraggly thinning hair.

  2. Looks great mate! Picked a rotten time for it though, make sure you invest in a good wooly hat!

  3. Might be going for this (or similar) tomorrow. My hair’s receding from the front and I need to fix it before I start looking like Hulk Hogan.

  4. Good lad. Mornings will never be the same, much less hassle

  5. Shaved my head nearly 4 years ago now and honestly, best decision I ever made! Welcome to the club mate

  6. Time to invest in some hats. One of the first things you’ll notice is how much colder your head gets.

  7. I started during covid when there was stupid rules about mask to stand up but no mask when sitting down and holding breath or whatever.

Never looked back but jeas-o it’s cold without a hat

  8. Would also recommend Bay Rum, it’s like an aftershave for your head pores, very good at cleaning and closing them and my Dad swears by it.

  9. That’s honestly better than razor close IMO, especially if you’re prone to ingrown hair.

  10. I remember being petrified of going bald, nowadays I wouldn’t go back, almost maintenance free 👌🏼

  11. Heard you can get microdot head tattoos, that give a new hairline of stubble, but then people will ask why you shaved your head as they won’t believe there was any hair loss in the first place.

  12. If this is your hair in your mid 30’s you might be a good candidate for a hair transplant. I’m the same age, I had worse hair density than you and I’m very happy with the results. A cheeky holiday in Istanbul and new hair for about £2k, it’s hard to beat. Feel free to DM me if you want.

  13. As a full baldy for around 7 years or so you will definitely benefit from buying a few hats this weather. You will get used to how you look pretty quickly

I find shaving every 3 days or so does the trick and you will get pretty quick at sorting that yourself but be careful around your ears as you will nick yourself if you rush at it. I find packs of 3 or 4 in B&M for 4 quid last around month or two generally

You will be amazed how many women out there find it pretty damn sexy so long as you keep yourself in good shape and get down the gym a couple of times a week you have nothing to be self conscious about. Remember the most successful male porn star is Johnny Sins – and he’s a baldy twat too

  14. Get ready for random wanting women following you hoping for a wee rub of your beautiful head

  15. I took the plunge a few years ago and have never looked back. Take it with grace. Life gives you lemons
