Israeli troops in Syria: Villagers watch on warily as soldiers patrol • FRANCE 24 English

Residents of Syrian towns in a province bordering Israel observe IDF troops establishing themselves in their neighborhoods. The province, Quneitra, is located on the Golan plateau. Israel took the Golan Heights in 1967 after the Six Day War. After another war that followed, a UN Buffer zone was established between Israel and Syria in 1974. This month, Syrians and international observers have reported that Israeli troops have been expanding their reach in the area – drawing concern from the UN Security Council.

  2. Wtf are the Israeli troops doing in another sovereign country. Oh wait, they are Israel… international law does not apply to them

  3. They live in a country now governed by terrorists after years of an oppressive regime, and they think that the marks left by bulldozer on the road is terrorism and is inhumane ? I know Syria has a 78% illiteracy rate and it shows, but even ar.abs cannot be that unintelligent.

  4. HTS threatened to attack Jerusalem after Assad's defeat…the Israeli's took the threat seriously and have taken precautionary measures, until they can ascertain that the new regime is not a threat to them.

  5. Not warily.Druze muslim wellcomed them and wanted to be annexed with Israel. We urge DW to be honest with true news.

  7. Israel is a member of the Geneva Convention, and they have broken "The Geneva Conventions of 1949
Part III Section | Article 33 – No protected person may be punished for an offence he or she has not personally committed. Collective penalties and likewise all measures of intimidation or of terrorism are prohibited.
    Pillage is prohibited.
Reprisals against protected persons and their property are prohibited"
There MUST be Legal consequences against Israel, and whoever stood in the way of putting and end to this Netanyahu's madness…Prophetic

  8. Were Israeli women spared from sexual assault when Hamas took over israeli settlements in October 7?
But look here women with hijabs walking freely in Front of IDF soldiers.
It shows the difference between the two groups.
