  1. Wah, we need access to impressionable kids to remain solvent/relevant and you should subsidise us waaahhhhh!

  2. Are there state faith schools for every religion? You definitely get Christian ones right? Educating your kids in a religiously segregated environment that doesn’t reflect the wider community doesn’t hit me as an idea to be encouraged anyway.

  3. Don’t give a shit if private faith schools close and I went to one. Frankly I’m not convinced they should be allowed, smells a lot like indoctrination.

  4. Good. Faith schooling and home schooling should be banned

  5. See ya! Try not to brainwash children with lies on your way out.

  6. Let them pass the plate around that’s how faith works right

  7. Cry me a river. Get fairy tale indoctrination out of schools. This is the real grooming that kids should be protected from.

  8. As a person who went to one of these schools, even though my family was not religious. It’s good if they can’t stay open, fuck them.

The amount of hours I spent as a kid wasting time on prayers or hymm practice was fucking insane. The fact that they taught me the bible like it was history was shameful. And on top of that we had a pedo teacher.

  9. I don’t believe it. They charge around £6k per term. That’s not exactly small change.

  10. From the article…

Single parent who doesn’t work is worried about where she’ll find money to pay for a private school…
