  2. I remember David Spade saying he and Farley had to continually fly back to NYC while they were shooting Tommy Boy because they were still cast members, and had to make the show. And he said he couldn’t understand how Pete Davidson was more or less allowed to come and go when he was on.

  7. It reminds me of how strict my parents were with me and my sister growing up and their laid-back approach to bringing up my brother who came along 10 years later. The things he got away with lol.

  10. The lack of discipline at SNL in recent years is very evident, for those of us who have been following the show since the beginning. Today’s shows are more about amusing themselves than entertaining the audience (although don’t get me wrong, it still has its great moments).

  21. Like in some families when the younger siblings reach their teenage years and the parents have mellowed out somewhat in comparison to when the older siblings were growing up.
