Spiders do not straighten their legs via muscles. Instead, they pump liquid into the leg to straighten it. When they die, the pump stops, causing all their legs to curl up. That’s why dead spiders always have curled up legs.
I’ll repeat, that’s why dead spiders always have curled up legs.
whats wrong in this picture let me see closely
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
It’s not a waste, he’ll finish that
Good colour on that tea, though 👍
u/shadowastronaught this would be us 💀
This is why I keep my cups and glasses upside down.
Had a similar thing happen with a glass of water only I felt the little bastard tickling my lips whilst drinking.
1/10 would not recommend
I just stuck my finger in a perfectly good cup of tea.
Thanks.
I found a big, live spider wiggling its legs in my half beer glass on holiday. I have a photo somewhere. I had been drinking from this glass for a while, sat at dusk on the balcony and still don’t know to this day if I threw the spider into my face several times as I took a drink. Am terrified of them and it took me several days to stop going over different ‘did I’ scenarios in my mind 😩 Carry a cup cover with me EVERYWHERE now.

Fun fact for the day:
Spiders do not straighten their legs via muscles. Instead, they pump liquid into the leg to straighten it. When they die, the pump stops, causing all their legs to curl up. That’s why dead spiders always have curled up legs.

That’s one advantage of Australia having those huge spiders: they don’t fit in a cup
Oh, please tell me the photographer didn’t drink any…
