The average temperature recorded at the weather station at Findel Airport across the year was 10.5°C, which is 0.8°C less than in 2020, which remains the warmest year to date. Last year’s average temperature was also below that of 2023, according to the Meteolux data.

Prices for all types of homes in Luxembourg fell throughout 2024

Old houses were 2.6% cheaper at the end of 2024 than at the start of the year, but prices of flats and brand new homes deteriorated less, atHome said.

After a prolonged period of higher borrowing costs, the reduction in interest rates by the European Central Bank, as well as fiscal measures by the Luxembourg government, have already started stimulating demand, according to atHome, and the outlook for 2025 indicates that the market will pick up again.
