Gerhard Schröder in Moscow to meet Putin in Ukraine peace bid: Sources

  1. That’s probably the last straw he has to redeem his legacy. But I don’t think that Putin cares about Schröder’s opinion. He has been a useful tool like the other foreign leaders who were “friends” with Putin.

  2. How about going on the sanctions list?

He’s the one who put a lot of Europe under dependency. Did he not understand the consequences?

What is he going to negotiate? Putting us under more dependency to calm down Putin?

  3. Schroeder is a paid russian agent, the worst kind of traitor; you all know that he works for a lot of money directly for Putin. Former German chancellor, nominated to join the board of directors at Gazprom. The Germans should be ashamed of that.

He alonside Merkel and Obama are to blame for Ukraine situation

  4. So who’s gonna tell him that Putin isn’t in Moscow? His staff would’ve informed him but they all quit on him for being pro-russian

  5. What kind of person just goes to Moscow right now with everything going on? Schröder is retired, it’s not like his opinion matters to anyone. Seems like a dumb move.

  6. Problem for him is that he did this without the approval of the German government. Someone is in for a spanking when he gets back to Germany…
