    Data Series – JTS600000000000000JOL & JTS600000000000000JOR from BLS

    Crux : In **January 2024**, there were **2.05 million** job openings, but by **October 2024**, this had fallen to **1.48 million**, marking a significant reduction of **570,000** openings.

    Rate analysis – The rate fell by two points from 7.3->5.3%. This low rate was observed only during pandemic times, such a low was observed back in Dec 2020.
