Or you’re reading the Scots Wikipedia instead of the main one?
Their written form is good. Certainly way above the vast majority, so they’ve done research or been taught.
Correctly removing “oo”. It’s used as an indicator regarding one’s knowledge.
Tae is however incorrect. It’s used as another indicator. Doubt they would have been told to use that.
I can buy it however as this is decent overall compared to what I normally see.
Not related to this, but
Remember that American kid (autistic, possibly?) who was obsessed with Scotland and made something like 600 different Wikipedia pages with completely inaccurate and made up facts about Scotland? And it became like a national incident lol.
(Ironically, some of the above facts may be completely wrong as my memory of the incident is vague. But something like that happened, right?)
Tae is wrong, itherwise maistly accurate
Right, that’s it. I’m never speaking or writing in English again. Starting noo.
For anyone interested in editing the Scots language Wikipedia, left in a mess by an overly keen American teenager with no knowledge of Scots, [Wikimedia in Scotland](https://wikimedia.org.uk/wiki/Wikimedia_in_Scotland) organises Scots Wiki Editathons / meetups and provides support for improving Scotland related content on wikipedia.
Paging u/ultach
As an aside, you know you can download a [simplified] Scots language version o Firefox for your PC?
Dunno if Mac/Linux/Android etc are supported, though
Thats not Scots. Thats a mix of English and Scots.
