UNCOFIRMED. Aparently Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking in different directions in the Kursk region. Russians are panicking on Telegram.

  1. “Republic of Ukraine”. What a joke to call them that. The cope is real. As a Irishman living in Australia I see the irony. I’m not from the Republic of Ireland. I’m from bloody Ireland.
    Slava Bloody Ukraine!!!!

  2. Berdin is on the road to Kursk city.
It’s a little from the side of the main road but strategically located.
I don’t know if UAF has plans to head towards Kursk since Russia has been building up quite some troops there after the last attack.
But a Ukrainian offensive is always good news. I will be following the updates closely!

  3. Why throw so much resources at futile offensives into Russia when losing men and ground in the east? Doesn’t sound like a wise way to spend what little stuff Ukraine has.

  4. So far from Putin’s decree of kicking the Ukrainians out of Kursk, the Ukrainians are actually gaining ground again?
    Excellent news.

  5. It’s less than a kilometer between the two villages looking at the map.
However it does seem they moved about 10kms

  6. They should dig-in deep into newly captured territories, let the orcs pay dearly for every inch of their territory.

  7. On the ISW (Institute for the Studies of War) map, there is one small section of the encirclement of Ukrainian forces in Kursk that is not confirmed, or claimed, to be held by Russian forces. This is where Berdin lies. Looks like UKR is pushing at the one spot where there will be least resistance.

Interestingly, continuing on the main road through this gap, there are no marked Russian defensive fortifications for 20km beyond Berdin. When the defences start, they run roughly along the shallow valley of the River Reut, between Lyubimovka and L’gov. At the SE end of the defences there is a 25km of open country with no marked fortifications.
