  1. First change was 90’s when soviet union collapsed and our kremlin sucking politics miserable failed that change.

Now is second change to join but I am sure that there are mole work doing including prime minister marin who publicly said that not on his tenure.

And yes, if they screw up this opportunity there will be no third change.

  2. “Our relationship has been very practical, pragmatic, and so far, Finland has been a neighbour with whom Russia does not have major problems, compared with **almost all** of its other neighbours.”

    loled

makes one a little suspicious of Russia

  3. Come join us. Neutrality is all good and fine unless you have a border with the land of pathetic imbecile warmongering dictator with delusions of grandeur and Parkinson’s.

  4. There was a struggle for the future direction of Russia in the wake of the collapse of the USSR. Maybe it was inevitable given the long Russian history of czars and expanding empire, but either way the good side did not win out in the end and Russia has fallen back in its old ways of autocratic power and a desire to get back in the empire expanding game.

You had best be joining NATO and soon.

  5. I don’t personally really care join NATO or not, however without NATO I believe foreign investors will not want to invest to Finland, which is very bad considering business, growth, collecting tax, etc. Finland is a great country for data-centers for example, as the weather is cool, a lot is saved in cooling expenses. However what if Russia attacks and bombs the datacenters? Just one example. Everything will get more expensive now thanks to Russia’s invasion, and without growth, salaries stay the same, not good situation even if Russia wouldn’t ever attack.
