  1. *Next time, I should ask you for the pub recommendations*

  2. I love the Mandirs appearing in East London – OP enjoying both prayers and then worldly pleasures 🙂

  3. Nice! Next how about a colour code for frequency and a corresponding heat map?

  4. Omg that’s a few pubs… Which ones are your top 5?

  5. What’s your favorite?

    I ve seen a few. But I reckon my fav is the faltering fullback. I enjoy the Dove on Broadway market too

  6. I notice you haven’t been in any Barking and Dagenham pubs…very sensible.

  7. A grand total of 422 (out of approx 3500) pubs visited over the course of 10+ years.

    I have no plans to visit every pub or anything. This just happened over time through social life, working in offices around the city and more recently due to covid photography [project](https://www.instagram.com/londonpubfacades/).

    Before anyone asks for favourites:

    * Southampton Arms and The Pineapple in Kentish Town
    * Prince of Wales, Highgate
    * The Robin, Couch End
    * Macintosh Ales, Stoke Newington
    * The Harp, Covent Garden
    * Princess Louise, Holborn
    * The Queens Larder, Russel Sq
    * The Queens Head and King Charles I in Kings Cross
    * The Hemingford Arms and The Compton Arms, Islington
    * The Wenlock Arms, Hoxton
    * Railway Tavern and Prince George in Dalston
    * Chesham Arms, The Cock Tavern and The Kenton in Hackney
    * Turner’s Old Star, Wapping
    * The Pride of Spitalfields
    * The Bricklayers, Tottenham
    * The Kings Arms, Waterloo
    * The Lord Clyde, Borough
    * The Old Justice and The Angel in Rotherhithe
    * Blythe Hill Tavern, Catford
    * Dog & Bell, Deptford
    * The Pelton Arms, Greenwich

  8. What brought you out to The Abbey Arms? It’s quite the outlier on your map (it’s my local).

  9. Why do many (different)?

    Do you travel a lot for other reasons or do you seek out interesting pubs?

  10. I also track this in the same way you do!
    I’m on 253 after about 3 years in London. I’ve mostly run out of pubs around my local area in East London but anywhere else I go there are still plenty new ones.

  11. Ay shoutout The Windsor in Peckham. Nothing fancy but £3.80 for a pint at a local independent pub is nothing to sniff at. Dunno how you end up there though, wouldn’t have known it existed if I didn’t move in down the road.

  12. Prince of Greenwich I think is worth a gander if you’re ever in Greenwich again. It”calls itself a pub and museum and it’s very cosy in the evenings!
