It’s the hunt for dead October
I am afraid they will re-appear in a place called Benghazi….

I highly doubt that.
Just send elite Ukrainian sea drones and all their subs will be fish food.
Every Russian ship is a potential submarine.
Just send in some Russian surface ships, they’re easily converted into submarines.
For those unaware, Tartus is naval base in Syria which the Russians no longer have access to. Tartus is not the name of a sunk submarine.
Yeah but they do have a bunch of them in the Black Sea.
Not a loss! Special submerging operation!
Would it not be beneficial for them to make that the belief and then have other subs there that aren’t accounted for
Near-pear adversary.
That we know of. There are bound to be a few weapons off the books. Subs could very likely be some of them.
What is Putin a dr who fan or something?
That we know of..
Does anyone know if Russian has actually lost access to Tartous, I was under the impression an agreement was made to with the new government to withdraw all Russian forces from Syria with the exception of Tartous and Khmeimim? I understand they have most of their ships anchored off shore for security reasons but im pretty sure Russia still operates on both bases but they are shifting to potentially safer alternatives. Not saying this isn’t true, maybe I’m just out of the loop. Any insights would be appreciated.
With Syria and the Black Sea not available as ports anymore any submarines in the mediterrenea must come from Baltic ports or all the way from the Pacific or Arctic.
They might send some submarines now just to show they can, but long term they can’t keep it up.
They might be able to hide some of the worst shortcomings of their submarine fleet underwater, but sooner or later reality will catch up to what incompetent leadership, corruption and lies do to a military force.
Why do parts of Tartus still show as “Red” on LiveUAMap ?
Oversight ? Or something else ?
Did they just airlift any subs out of the Mediterranean?
Was about to make a Rome joke, then realized it was Tartus not Tarsus
Next lease to be canceled for dictator Putin should be done using his cowardly weapon of choice. Serve him a cup of ‘millennium tea’.
Let’s do the same for Baltic sea.
Or, so we think.
Tartus in Tartarus
Yes they do, the Ursa Major. Deep water boat
