2. I agree with the calls for a national inquiry to investigate why grooming gangs have been allowed to operate with almost total impunity before the news broke out about Rotherham’s gangs. Ideally, we should also be pressing criminal charges against any councillors or members of police management who enabled this. This has been a major talking point for the past decade and a major reason why support for the British right wing has been growing.

   The more Keir Starmer kicks this can down the road, the more ammunition he’s giving to Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage.
