  3. Man, I feel really sorry for those North Korean troops. They have no skin in this game and they aren’t even fighting to defend their homeland. I know they’re on the bad guys’ side, but none of those dudes wanted to go fight in Ukraine for Vladimir fucking Putin.

  5. The game Terra Invicta has every nation with a military power which represents their fighting capabilities. I think North Korea is the only military in Industrial Age which is lower than nations who do not have a military like the Pacific Islands having, at least, atomic age. The only reason why They don’t get easily invaded because they have one nuke.

    I think their estimate on NK militech is on point.

    I know one person refuses they get shot bit if the entire country refused to be conscripted then things would look different.

  16. North Korea hasn’t really been involved in any sort of war in seventy years. Most of their people know next to nothing about the outside world. Their troops are poorly fed.

    This was never going to go well (except maybe for the people in charge).

I watched a documentary on the relationship between the Russians and N Korean soldiers, and a few captured Russian soldiers spilled the beans on what is happening with their N Korean counterparts. On top of the huge language barrier, they keep to themselves and fire at anything that moves including shadows often hurting or killing the soldiers on their own team. The Russians can’t tell if the N Korean soldiers are untrained or just messed up in the head.

    Since Putin paid a price for them, they get better food options where the Russian soldiers get some slip that looks like oatmeal. That can’t create good feelings amongst the Russian soldiers.

    All in all, it is coming down to a complete lack of plan and preparedness from Putin. N Korean soldiers are being lead into a death chamber and I guess they go willingly. Sad loss of life.

  23. North Korean soldiers are doing their job efficiently as one-time human shields for Russian and force the Ukraine to waste their bullets and drones.

  24. Am I alone in thing many of these troops defected, this was just their way out of North Korea. They are claiming to be dead, just to protect their families
