Not sure how to share pics or links here but your post brought this to my mind. It’s an old painting by Eetu Isto, called “Attack” in Finnish. It depicts the two-headed eagle of the Russian Empire attacking Finland’s sovereignty and our book of law.

If anyone’s interested you can read old Finnish newspapers up to 1939 on the Kansalliskirjasto website. They don’t have anything beyond 1939 though due to copyright issues. But they’re so fascinating and you can definitely find other political cartoons in them. I remember seeing a few in the late ‘39 issues from Etelä-Saimaa iirc.
