It would also amount to a waste of time and money considering most of the country have no viable option
Can’t wait to ring into work and tell my boss I am not coming in because the RSA’s campaign is working. I am too ashamed to drive my car, and there are no alternative transportation options where live.
Just to give a quick example I live in Belfast and close to 300,000 people live within 5km of the city centre. This is very easy to cycle around. Yet even with petrol prices increasing the roads are still bumper to bumper. There are literally 10,000s of people who could ditch the car if they wanted.
This isn’t to take away from people who aren’t on public transport links and need to use their cars.
The RSA don’t do shame – remember the He Drives, She Dies campaign they ran?
How about they shame our shitty public transport system instead
Car shaming. Jesus Christ. Nothing may be critiqued for fear someone somewhere might feel shame.

Surely sometimes from time to time shame is good.
