Covid passes set to stay as Europe heads for winter

  1. >Denmark actually phased out its coronapas last month, writes Adrienne Murray in Copenhagen. It was first in Europe to adopt a pass in April but has now downgraded Covid-19 to a no longer “socially critical” disease.

Just want to ad that Denmark does not currently have this. But it is very likely that we will again.

  2. Those will stay for winter, the question is next summer mostly. With tons of passes in Europe expiring before the summer season (1 year validity). I wonder what will happen, as not all counties are giving boosters to all and extending validity due to boosters. It seams most pro-science/vaccine people under 50 won’t be able to travel or go to a restaurant if passes are still a thing in say August 2022. So we need EU wide rules on this, as that would be an economic nightmare

  3. COVID passes only work as a carrot to convince people to get the vaccine as they might not be able to do the thing they want. Keeping them once there is a high vaccination rate is pointless.

It’s like DRM but for real life activities. People who don’t want the vaccine will still not have it, and people who have had it are inconvenienced with no greater degree of safety.

  4. I’m i the only one that thinks this smells of mass control that is never going to go away? It doesn’t matter if you’re pro or anti vax, the end result is rights are being taken away, one by one…
