First day that the line has reopened between Pafendall and Luxembourg and now this. I’m now considering not buying along the train line since it seems that I’m sadly better off with a car anyway.
Its a big frustration, if you live in the city public transport is great, but getting to the city just isn’t reliable enough.
The cfl should be fined for each train they cancel.

Is this related to the works that they just finished? Maybe having problems with them already?
I’ve also noticed that they’ve started to run some pretty old and awful trains between Esch and Lux Gare. I’ve been here 4 years and have never had to deal with the old old train cars. To have such poor transport between the two largest cities in the country seems like a crazy decision. I am hoping it’s not permanent.

well they are expending the trainstation, so it is probably that something happened, at the moment it sucks but for the long time you will forget it and be happy that they did it. As others here mentioned, compared to other countries CFL is very reliable (more than DB Deutsche Bahn)

Got late for an important exam today, I couldn’t even understand what happened, the train wouldn’t move for the first 15 minutes and then it would stop at EVERY train stop even tho it didn’t have to, arrived with 20 minutes of delay
I only use bus/tram when moving inside the city, otherwise use my car.
Public transportation is garbage, everywhere, it’s an utopia created by people not using it.
Still much better than South Africa.
Count your blessings, at least people aren’t stealing the signalling equipment and copper cables on a weekly basis, and then angry commuters torch the trains because of delays, as if somehow this will solve everything….
Of course I didn’t experience this firsthand, because public transport is too dangerous to use because of muggings…
