Can only applaud staff at UZ for this, a shame they are underpaid and understaffed.
Country with the highest taxes in the world and we get passed by almost all neighbouring countries…sigh.

which parameters did they all take into consideration? Because “the best” hospitals sounds a bit ridiculous for such multifarious and complex institutes
Missing information: how many and which hospitals provide world renowned care without driving the patient or their family into bankrupcy or relying on charity or Go-fund-me like funding?
Having worked there. Almost everybody having a burnout, under paid, practically no perks. Lot’s of doctors who think they’re god on earth, as well as getting position because of family renown… Maybe not as a worker.
As a patient it depends. If you have no complications in a pregnancy for example you’re better off in heilig hart. If you have routine stuff better go to a perifeer ziekenhuis where people do that routine stuff daily. Gasthuisberg does a lot of niche and high-tech stuff so in that case they’re pretty good. But I’d much rather go to the emergencies in heilig hart dan Gasthuisberg for example
why do people keep saying underpaid?
If you see how much simple housedoctors earn i can’t imagine, surgeons and other hospitaal staff have anything to complain about?
