Councillor delaying metro “Two Charlemont stations”

  1. He can’t be serious. Does he not understand how in every city that there is a metro that a station can have even more than 2 entrances?

  2. Can a councilor realistically hold this up? If the majority of the council give it the green light or say he’s talking nonsense, wouldn’t that effectively make this no issue?

  3. Can someone explain to me why spending €3bn+ on 12 miles of an urban railway is such a necessity? I mean like, I know for some reason almost every r/Ireland redditor thinks it’s the bees knees but I fail to see what’s so great about it.

  4. >”When explained that there is only one station, just two entrances, they said an entrance North of the canal is ‘effectively a second station’
But it isn’t, It’s two staircases, one station, both south of the canal.
But they still refuse to withdraw the motion.”

I’ve got two ears – does this mean I’ve effectively got a second head?
