That driver is a fucking asshole.
Shame the video quality isn’t slightly better to make out the reg.
From the video, it does look like the cyclists forward facing light is flipped back facing him and turned off…. But that’s no excuse whatsoever, especially since he’s wearing a bright jacket.
That driver was going way too fast in the wet, didn’t brake at the roundabout, looked for absolutely nothing but car headlights and then barely even tapped the brakes after missing a cyclist by inches.
This roundabout also has traffic light on as well. Looks like the darndale/coolock roundabout.
Cyclists fault
I got knocked down, T-boned on a roundabout in this exact same scenario and then a few years later, narrowly missed the exact same again, on the same roundabout.
No amount of high vuz clothing or lights can prevent this.
