“bUt BUild up iS chEapEr” – every single reddditor not involved in construction.
*Slaps roof* you can fit so much negative equity in this bad boy
So much for the pay rise ….how they calculate this number , I’m thinking the investors might be expecting too much ROI
These numbers are either wrong, ludicrous, or both.
Honestly think this is a far more serious problem than petrol prices. There are very often ways to reduce your petrol use or avoid it altogether – they may not be convenient or comfortable, but they exist. There is no way to avoid needing a place to live.
great news then that Dublin councillors blocked over 1500 apartments in 5 different schemes in the last while
I just paid 80k over the asking for a 3 bed in Kildare. It’s insane.
Luckily I’m in a job where I can afford it but lower income families have practcally no chance of getting on the property ladder and have been abandoned by the government.
Shop around and have more money. Problem solved.
Just make some instant coffee at home. Be grand
Why don’t we just so what the politicians did and give ourselves a payrise 3 times in a single year. Simples.
Just stop eating all those avocados
For all of the apartments I’ve lived in here, the thought of paying nearly half a million just to hear my neighbours pissing or stamping over my head would be enough to send me over the fucking balcony.
Heading back into bubble territory at remarkable speed. Should be very intriguing once interest rates go up in response to inflation.
Popcorn at the ready…
What a time to be alive
It’s sad that that there may be a large increase in emigration as housing only gets more and more expensive. It will eventually become cheaper to live in bigger cities like London then Dublin
