>the anaesthetic taken by Elon Musk to control his moods
Are you fucking serious lol
The ket addict threatened to invade us.
I’d sort of prefer if the richest man on the planet wasn’t personally more of a fuckup and more cringingly insecure than a pleb like me.

Will stop absolutely no one.
Changing it to Class A will just scare away the low level enthusiast type dealers/importers and be taken over by criminal gangs where its much more likely to end up contaminated with Fentanyl or Nitazines etc.
Will kill far more than it saves!
Musk is prescribed ketamine
There’s value in drugs like ketamine and psilocybin, for therapeutic uses, such as PTSD, anxiety and depression. I have never taken any of these substances, more due to fear, but there are use cases for them, rather than an outright ban. It makes it more and more unlikely that research will lead to any changes in any kind of therapy now. Like throwing the baby out with the bath water.
Banning a substance should not be based on how many people are taking it.
Ketamine Maximus will be having another twitter meltdown over this in 3…2…1…
Oh fuck off.
Like that’s gonna curtail it’s use.
Worked out really well for cocaine and heroin, didn’t it?
Friend: Want a bump of Ket?
Me: No thanks. The Home Office says it’s class A now.
😂
Didn’t all the toilets, excluding 1, all contain massive traces of cocaine in the Houses of Parliament?
People in glass houses…
Ah yes, changing its classification, that’ll finally do the trick.
Is to try and keep Elon away?
Bog standard shite from Labour on drug policy. When they were last in power, they started a pointless moral panic about legal highs, banned a bunch of them causing more dangerous ones to come on the market, and fired Dr David Nutt from the drug advisory committee because he had the outrageous, heretical belief that drugs should be categorised based on their potential for harm instead of whatever the government of the day feels plays best with the tabloids.
That’s a real good idea… That’s how they stopped people taking cocaine. You don’t hear of that any more.
I think we can all safely say that the war on drugs has been lost to drugs.
Look out Elon !!
shame we’ve got a government stuck in the 90s. I can’t believe it’s 2025 and we’re still pushing this proven failure of an approach to drugs, after generations. Fuck the evidence right? At this point it just feels like (yet another) attack on societies most vulnerable.
Elon can’t move here then…
I was a drug addict
Classifications don’t stop anything, it’s a totally meaningless metric cos no one expects to get caught and by the time your on the harder drugs usually at class A you simple don’t care.
is this to annoy Elon?
Or maybe, and this might be a crazy concept. We get rid of the class system and decriminalise all drugs and have them provided by the pharmacy on a specific prescription (That covers the full cost of the drugs). This way we can treat drug use fully as a healthcare issue and not a criminal one and also attempt to combat the illegal drug trade that funds organised crime across the country.
What is clear though is that criminalising drugs isn’t effective. When I was in my late teens and early twenties I did some molly and coke when I was out partying and at no point did I consider the legal repercussions because it’s not something that you think about.
Home Office: We’re changing it from being banned to even more banned!
Everyone: That’ll do it. 😐
Maybe it’s to make sure Musk gets doubly fucked if he ever comes here and gets found with some.
To be honest, I would have guessed that it was already a class A! I can’t see it making the slightest bit of difference though apart from being an excuse to lock people up for longer if (and it’s a big if) they get done for it. We’ve already got enough genuine criminals walking around, do we really have space to lock up more?!
